📋 Before You Estimate:

  • Confirm scope with technician or supervisor

  • Review field photos and cause of loss

  • Verify mitigation was approved and paid

  • Review policy coverage limits (ACV vs RCV, deductibles)

📐 Estimate Must Include:

  • Accurate sketch (rooms, dimensions, materials)

  • Scope of repair (per trade: drywall, paint, cabinets, flooring, etc.)

  • Line item breakdowns (Xactimate, or matching format)

  • Clear notes explaining why each line applies

  • Overhead & Profit (O&P) added if applicable

  • Itemize specialty items (vanities, cabinets, appliances, etc.)

📎 Attach to Estimate:

  • Photos to support each room or repair line

  • Tech notes or job summary

  • Invoice (if already completed)

  • Prior payments or carrier estimate (if available)

Tip

Build every estimate as if it will be reviewed in a legal case.
Precision = faster payouts.
